Background

Yeguada Centurión was founded in 1995. Its founder, Leopoldo Fernández Pujals, grateful for his business success in Spain, has a desire to give something back to the country which has given him so much, by improving and promoting the Purebred Spanish Horse.
To achieve this aim, at the San Pedro de las Dueñas stud farm in Lastras del Pozo, Segovia, we breed fine examples of the Purebred Spanish Horse under optimum conditions. Our horses enjoy the freedom of the thousand-hectare estate, they are fed using sophisticated feeding methods and are cared for and trained by a team of dedicated and passionate professionals. .

Each year we select the best mares from the stud farm and breed them with our own stallions and also with the best stallions from other Spanish studs. This approach avoids inbreeding at the stud and also ensures optimum genetic PRE attributes.

Our vision is for our PREs to compete in international classical dressage competitions and one day triumph over other breeds, in particular in World Cup competitions and at the Olympic Games.
